Senior Account Manager - General Insurance - Home Based

Salary: £40k basic (OTE £75k) - Plus a Generous Benefits Package

The Company

Our client is a financial information, ratings and fintech business, helping financial institutions and consumers make better informed decisions.

The Role

To help fulfill their ambitious growth plans they are now recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to focus specifically on the General Insurance market.

This important role will manage and develop relationships with Insurers and identify sales opportunities for relevant products and services (including Ratings, Software and Consultancy) in order to achieve revenue targets.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to combine Account Management and the development of identified new business opportunities.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required

Candidates must have experience of B2B sales, using a consultative sales approach to achieve challenging targets.

Our client are looking for someone who combines a proven track record from the past with a passion to learn and adapt in order to be even more successful in the future.

You'll also need excellent interpersonal skills combined with high levels of self-confidence and both the intelligence and the gravitas to establish and maintain credibility with senior-level contacts within large corporate organisations.

Previous experience of selling software, ratings and/or consultancy solutions is highly desirable, but what's more important is your ability and willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of our clients products and services and the complexity of the financial product data that underpins them.

A good working knowledge of the General Insurance segment of the UK financial services industry is essential, so you can quickly build relationships with clients, understand their business needs and offer tailored solutions that will provide them with high-levels of value.
