Positions available: 1 part-time position (18.5 hours/2.5 days per week), based across the Black Country
Salary: £25,946.10 (FTE) full time equivalent

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Children and Young Person's Counsellor to join our supportive Therapeutic team within BCWA Sexual Violence Services.

You will support with the administration and monitoring of referrals and hold a caseload of children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18, who have experienced sexual violence and/or abuse.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communications skills, good written language skills, and experience handling data and working with excel and databases.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the charitable sector and use your skills to support a dynamic and growing organisation.

The Role:

You will be providing counselling support to children and young people, who may have experienced sexual violence, exploitation and abuse.

You will be required to provide a high-quality frontline service to victims, ensuring that support is trauma-informed and tailored to the individual needs of the child or young person.

This role will be based within our Sexual Violence Services, supporting the work of the Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (CHISVAs), to include the manage referrals through our Paediatric Sexual Assault Referral Centre contract (PSARC).
