Housing Officer

As a Housing Officer you'll be responsible for providing tenancy and neighbourhood management services for a dedicated patch of properties.

The new role is extensive and includes managing tenancies and breaches of tenancies, reducing debt owed in rent and service charges, monitoring estate management services, undertaking regular fire safety inspections and manage cases of ASB.

Housing Officers will be expected to represent WCH in court and external meetings, be a key point of liaison for community stakeholders and be the first point of contact of resident associations/representative bodies.

The successful candidate will have previous debt management experience, knowledge of relevant housing legislation and experience of dealing with difficult conversations.

Excellent customer service skills, communication and time management skills, problem-solving skills and negotiation/influencing skills are key for this post.
