Care Assistant

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Clydebank, Scotland area.

You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers



This special care home has a team full of professionals that provide palliative care, Parkinson's nursing, Dementia nursing and convalescence to very high standards to their patients.

Each house provides a safe and secure environment where residents can feel completely at home.

The team of nurses and carer assistants take time to get to know every resident; tailoring the care they provide to suit each individual



As a Care Assistant your key duties include:



  • Respecting the Residents' dignity and privacy

  • Providing the highest standard of person-centred support to the Residents' to be as independent as possible and encouraging them to do as much for themselves as they can

  • Working with Residents' and families to deliver person centered care

  • Supporting with all aspects of personal care; feeding, toileting, bathing

  • Maintaining thorough and up to date records on each Residents'



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Fantastic people skills

  • Great team player

  • Adaptable - think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing situations

  • Excellent communication skills



The successful Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £9.50 per hour and the annual salary is up to £21,736 per annum.

To be considered for this position ideally you will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
