Digital Print Operator - Barnstaple

Salary: £21,840

The Company:

Our client is a company specialising in creating fully customisable cycling kit by using innovative materials and printing techniques.

The Role:

As part of a small team you will accurately use computer software (illustrator CC2019 ) to create print layouts onto different materials to export onto TX link for sending to printing presses for production.

To layout the print to efficiently utilise the materials and prevent wastage.

Role Responsibilities:

? Process approved design customer files, using illustrator, according do desired specification
? Use Illustrator to create print layouts onto different materials in accordance with garment
? Layout of the print to ensure minimal wastage
? Liaise with printing and cutting personnel to confirm priorities
? Support colleagues and undertake other duties where necessary to ensure output is maintained


Skills required:

? Level 2 qualification in electronic publishing and imaging and/or art and design
? Methodical, organised, and consistent working style
? Able to work with minimal supervision
? Knowledge of Cycling/sport clothing would be advantageous
? Some knowledge and experience of using illustrator software would be advantageous but not essential, they can offer training in illustrator and Mac for the right candidate
