Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Salary: £35k - £60k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established law firm, specialising in family law, property, and wills & probate.

The Role:

As a Private Client Fee Earner, you will oversee all fee-earning duties to improve departmental and firm profitability, while ensuring that the firms expansion aligns with the established business plan.

Responsibilities:

? Handle client matters professionally to prevent service complaints.
? Comply with Office Quality Manual policies, emphasising risk management.
? Manage files to Lexcel / CQS Standard using the firm's case management system.
? Use software (e.g., Microsoft Word, 365) for correspondence, documents, and accounts.
? Participate in marketing activities and contribute to the firm's website.
? Exercise financial control, ensuring timely file closure and feedback requests.
? Maintain clear written communications, meet deadlines, and respond promptly to calls.
? Adhere to SRA and COLP / COFA Rules consistently.
? Attend file reviews, department, and staff meetings.
? Stay updated with legal changes and engage in compulsory training.


Requirements:

? Previously worked as a Solicitor, Fee Earner or in a similar role.
? At least 2 years of private client experience.
? Possess relevant qualifications.
? Ideally have 2 years of estate administration experience in probate-related matters.
